Expecting blessings
John 16:23-27
23 And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. 24 Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
I am now reading a book, 'To know Him'. Him, refers to no one else but our heavenly Father. I feel that this book really speaks to me about my current spiritual walk wif my Father. For 2 weeks i have been searching in vain for a good, stable job. Most of the times, it either is not stable or it affects my weekend schedules. I sought all these jobs by my own strengths and was quite upset last week due to repetitive failures.
This book showed me why i failed. I need to draw near to God again. I need to ask God for forgiveness as i strayed away. I want God to be in charge again in my life. God PROMISES that what we ask of Him, He will give it to us IF we put Him first above all.
I already called up the recruitment agency to send my resume to a certain IT company. I will be praying tonight for the Holy Spirit to make a breakthrough in my finances. And i believe I will get the job. Seriously, I do! I want to thank God beforehand for the job and i praise Him for who He is! The One in charge! Hallelujah!

God is never late and never too early, but just in time! Amen!

Sometimes it really vexes us why God does not answer us... but that is because He wants us to draw neawer to Him first. He has the answers and all things are in His hands. But He just want us to cultivate a heart of patience and faith. A period of trial either breaks or builds a christian and I am glad that you had perservered through. Let us know that God is good all the time!
