Emotional control and self -management

Reached for a book called "Emotional Intelligence" by Christine Wilding yesterday. Been particularly useful in identifying the grey areas of my life, and brought to light many aspects of how my emotions can actually affect how i perform in my life. It speaks of how a good emotional well-being lead to proper self management and thus self-excellence.

"It really doesn't matter how people say or do things to you. It matters how you respond."

Just felt there could be more room for me to control my temperament. Being aware of what is at work, the emotional or the rational part. Looking past the things beyond my control and keeping a positive outlook.

3 chapters finished, and still running on!
