Seeking value

I am sure ALL of us have things which we value. Value is worth only how much we place upon it. Some value the ownership of branded cars, some maybe large wealth or for some its finding that soul mate and spending the rest of their lives together. In my opinion, there is definitely no wrong in seeking all these and it is biblical to live a prosperous life.

I want to talk a bit abt people who sowed into my life. When i am recently challenged to sow into other members, i found difficulties in doing so as i also have plans of my own. However, i found myself thinking back of all that i have received from other more mature members in CG and it really makes me ponder what is the driving force behind all their efforts to make a positive difference.

I find that they seek value in seeing people's lives prosper. Maybe this sounds cheesy but i am sure its true. The world is facing threats like terrorism and starvation and sexual assault and poverty and so on, and it seems no end to it. We are indeed fortunate to live in a comfortable setting in SG and I am not saying we are eliminating all the problems in the world but just making small positive impact in the lives around us. Some things just can't be learned by teaching but by doing.

I am yawning as i am writing this....its 2am le. This isn't an informative talk about life and its worth but just a reflection of what i feel now. I hope that this will inspire you in your daily walk. Thanks for reading.
