Before i tell you whats different about him, let me share what kind of man he is. He is a ordinary person, living day to day like all of us. He doesn't drive big cars and boast of anything. He has a great and cheerful smile and likes helping youths and adults alike to make the best use of their talents and life. To him, nothing is impossible because he knows that he is a winner of winners through Jesus. In my opinion he is a marvellous pastor and an amazingly friendly person who loves God wholeheartedly and fervently.
His name is Nick Vujicic. He is a man without limbs. He was born without any medical explanations of his deformity. Yet he plays soccer(yes!), golf, goes fishing, swims....Today he was the guest preacher. If you had seen him, you will realise his stature was awesome. He straightened his back and stood vertically on the table laid out on the stage. And he preached a amazing message tonight.
He cautiously and conscientiously stated that we must not look to him as a role model but we must look towards Jesus and the bible. He drew his strength through his leaning on the Holy Spirit and the bible. He did not see himself as a abnormal person but saw his infirmities as a channel to reflect God's glory.
I am encouraged by his words. It is evident that God supplies all our needs. Whatever i am going through right now i know God will deliver and strengthen me to be an overcomer! Knowing my purpose in the situations i am placed in makes the whole journey so much more fun.
